Everything to Know for the Romeo and Juliet Half Marathon

Do you love Shakespeare? Or do you love love? Either way this Valentine’s race is a great choice. Taking place in Verona, the home of Romeo and Juliet, this half marathon takes runners past some of the most iconic landmarks in the city, before heading along the river and back past some vineyards.

Expo Location: AGSM forum – Piazzale Azzurri d’Italia

Expo Times: Will update when posted for 2025, but expect Friday, Saturday, and pre-race on Sunday.

Romeo and Juliet Half Marathon Review

The Romeo and Juliet Half Marathon was my second race that I ran out of 12 in 2023. I loved the course a lot, and the well organized team behind the race made everything go smoothly. At the end of my year of running a half marathon every month in a new country, this was my third favorite race.
